Role at Hulamin
Moses runs the foil business at Hulamin Rolled Products and is also responsible
for the downstream businesses, Hulamin Fabricated Products, Hulamin
Cylinders and Hulamin Containers.

What roles have you played at Hulamin?
I have been at Hulamin for 26 years, having started as a trainee technician in
1982. Since then, I have held a number of operational management positions,
in various parts of the business, most recently in foil.

What have been your most significant challenges?
Ensuring that existing foil business continues to perform to meet the business objectives whilst at the same time preparing to bring expanded foil operation on stream according to plan.

What is your vision for Hulamin?
I believe we have all the ingredients to exceed stakeholder expectations. Most
notably to be an employer of choice, attracting and retaining high calibre
people. We also need to be a catalyst for growth in this region, encouraging
growth in the local market of aluminium intensive fabrication industries.

What do you see as the toughest challenges in the coming years?
Keeping pace with, and in many cases getting ahead in technology will be a
key component in an ever increasing competitive marketplace. Also, attracting
and retaining skilled people will be an increasing challenge.

Moses is married to Phila, and they have four sons – Sizwe, S’fiso, Mfundo and
Nhlakanipho
